R&B
So this is a travesty. Not like the R&B has a reputation for putting out high-quality material, but at least everything was left up to students. Which is the point. Of a student-run, independent newspaper. Also, I’m really disappointed that the guy appointed EIC would take the job. He was always really supportive, even of me (and my questionable attitude). I hope they all take the energy they must have and turn it into something better.
Agree, agree, agree! Particularly about Ed (he is the one taking over, right?). He and I might not have gotten along all that well, but I always thought he was a pretty strong supporter of the whole student-run aspect of the paper.
Except I will say this is actually great training for how the real world journalism thing functions (at least in my very limited experience).
Also: WHAT? SO MUCH RIDICULOUS. Maybe that should have gone first. But I’m guessing I’m a little late to the game here, so I held my initial reaction for the end.
